The “H” Family Session in Melbourne Florida

The “H” Family Session took place at one of my favorite little shootings nooks at Wickham Park. I’m heartbroken to say this will be the last blog post featuring this location. Last week it was destroyed by a horrible fire. I’m truly heartbroken.

Rewind 14 years ago, and we were looking at buying our first home. At the time I had 6 month old twin boys (now almost 15 years old!) and a perk to the house we chose was the closeness to Wickham Park. I wanted a spot where I could meet up with other moms for those epic “stroller walking” hangouts. I soon stumbled upon this path when out for a stroll and knew that the lighting would be perfect for photography. At first it was very overgrown, but as the years passed, parks and recs began to put in more trails throughout the foliage. It quickly became my go-to family park location. If you have been following my work for a while, this spot should look familiar. I’m so sad knowing that I will never be able to take my clients here again. But I am so grateful for the 10+ years that it served me.
