My mind is flooded with a thousand and one things to say about this breathtaking citrus infused inspiration wedding at one of Florida’s newest wedding venues! Field Manor was built in 1868 and is THE oldest home in Merritt Island Florida. On the property you will find oranges, mangos, papaya, kiwi, blackberries, lemons, key limes, honey and oyster beds. It is peacefully nestled right along the river and is bursting with character! This month Field Manor will be hosting it’s first wedding! I have been dreaming (and that’s putting it lightly) of designing a styled shoot with Brevard’s best of the best wedding professionals – and WOW did they deliver! I am blown away by the talent of everyone involved! Patti (Buds Etc.) suggested the venue when I first began planning and after visiting I knew right away that it was the perfect location!
We opted for bright colors – pops of orange, pinks and a deep chardonnay accent – kept it classy by incorporating gold – but stayed true to the history of the venue by adding a few antique elements. The cake table actually is my nightstand! An 1860’s drop-leaf table that I scored at an antique store a while back. The pocket watch is from the 1880’s and is a family heirloom given to me by my father. And the bouquet… THE BEST THING EVER! Every bride needs to have a bouquet as gorgeous as this one! From the cake, invitations, signage, silverware, candle stands, macaroons, Model A (Ya, pretty cool, huh)… dress and jewelry every detail was carefully planned. We added a few special touches too like the key on the groom’s boutonniere, a locket on the bouquet and the original farmhouse table built from wood on the property. I really am speechless. It was a complete team effort and I so thankful to everyone involved! So before you drool over the pretty, let’s hear it for the AMAZING team of wedding professionals:
