Interview with Amanda, the beautiful bride…
How did you meet?
We met in 9th grade at Palm Bay High School. We both had the same World History class (5th period) and I sat right in front him in that class.
How did he propose?
We were in Viera and had just gotten some Cold Stone ice cream. We walked to sit by the fountain on a bench and eat our ice cream. He asked me if he could ask me a question and then he proposed right there sitting on the bench.
How did you choose your venue?
We chose the First Christian Church of Melbourne because of the beautiful stained glass and we loved the colors inside the church. It was also very important for us to be married inside of a church. We chose the Melbourne Realtor Conference Center because it was a gorgeous building with lots of room. It included the dance floor, a slide show projector and even a room solely for a food buffet. The paint on the walls are very neutral as well.
Any DIY details you’d like to share?
We made all of our centerpieces, invitations, programs, tissue packets, the flowers attached to all the chair sashes at the reception site, etc…so it was a very do it yourself kind of wedding 🙂
What is the one thing you will remember most about your wedding?
We will remember our beautiful ceremony.
What was the most challenging part of the planning process? Â
There was very limited time as it got closer to the wedding.  A wedding planner would have been very helpful.
What is your next step as husband and wife? Â
We plan to purchase a house and further our careers.
