I promised a Part 2 – and here it is! The morning after Bailey & Logan’s wedding, we drove up to Max Patch – a bald mountain on the North Carolina – Tennessee Border. The views were breathtaking and well worth the climb! It was only an 18 mile drive from Hot Springs – but it took almost an hour… (if that tells you anything about the twisty gravel roads that we took to get there). Apparently you can camp on the top of this mountain – there were many packing up their tents from the night before when we arrived. I’m thinking this might be a good family vacation, when my kids are a bit older! Bailey & Logan – I’m so thankful for your sweet, adventurous and trusting personalities!
